I pointed out a favorite (speculative) stock pick of mine back in November; it's Vast Exploration out of Calgary. You can see the original post here.
Been in and out of this one several times in the past year, and I jumped back in heavily in October at around $0.50. I absolutely love how predictable this stock has been. As of today, I'm up over 50%. Not a bad return in only 2.5 months. I just went ahead and set a stop at $0.74 to lock-in my profits if we see a dip, but at this point I think she's going north for a little bit. I always stress the importance of tight trailing stops on these volatile junior stocks. You can be up double digits one day, and cut in half the next if you're not careful.
The stock closed at $0.77 today, trading 1.2 million shares. Here's the 60-day chart:
Keep your eyes on this one, there may be a pullback in the next couple weeks presenting another great entry point. There may also be a positive announcement from Kurdistan in the next 2-4 weeks which could drive this puppy close to the $2 range. Check my other post out, and look at how it's been consistently channeling.
